  2. I liked Refugee (The Captive #3),

The story moves forward from book 2 as Braith and Arianna head towards an inevitable future. Unfortunately they saw that future in a different way.The vampires surrounding them made it very clear to Arianna that the future Braith can never come to pass.

  3. I enjoy the series, but my favorite one so far has to be renegade. Since it truly shows how strong aria is and the power behind true love once found.

  4. I really like captured, mainly because i like the turmoil in braith as he struggles with Aria's place in his life and his place in hers...

  5. I would love to be in the contest. My favorite book series are The Captive and Kindred series and my favorite book out of all of them is Salvation. I love it because it shows that even a 952 year old vampire still can grow and develop. I loved the fact that although unproachable, when Aria got taken he was still able to kind of control himself. He has grown into a good, fair leader and now he cares about people other than Aria and himself. I really started to like Jack and Ashby a lot in this book, one of the reasons I'm so excited for Jack's story to come out. The book was so well written that I didn't know if everything would work out until like the 95% mark. I was so scared for poor Arianna that I was almost crying for 1/2 the book. I was in my bed at like 11 at night because I couldn't put the book down because I was so scared about what might happen. I was shivering when the King forced his blood in Aria. I completely LOVED the romance in this book and thought It balanced nice between sweet and passionate. I also really liked how this book showed more insight into her and her brothers relationship. I even started to like Max again. The part when her and William were messing with Braith about the birthday cake was one of my favorite scenes. I liked how she finally turned into a vampire and Braith was finally put on ease about her safety(at least until his dad comes back up from the grave!). I laughed, cried, smiled like an idiot, and shivered through the whole book. There was never a part where I though the scene could have done better. I LOVE this book and I can't wait for Redemption. I hope you consider me to win. I would be so grateful. Thank you.

  7. I love the whole series! But I think my favorite is Captured. I loved reading when and how Aria and Braith first met and how gradually they fell for each other. Can't wait to read Redemption!!♡

  8. I recently bought the series bundle, but right now I'm reading for promised reviews so I haven't been able to start reading it yet. After reading the blurbs for each book I'm not sure I'll have just one favorite.

  9. I would say Renegade is my favorite one.

  11. My favorite book in the series is salvation. Although it is the end of the series, which always make me super sad, we get to see how far the characters have come and how the developed over the series and stayed true to their characters , which can't always be said about characters in a series. I also liked how we got answers to questions we been wondering about and we also got closure when the people who deserved it got their just desserts.

  13. My favorite is Captured. I love reading how Aria fell in love with Braith. It's where it all began and gives so much info on all the characters. I was hooked on this series from word one.

  14. Captured, because it has some of the best aria and braith moments and it has one of my favorite lines in it.... " I brought you here because for the first time in almost a hundred years I was able to see something, and that something was you arianna"....... and also cause i like how they introduce jericho and how it ended how you would least expect it to.

  15. My favorite is definitely Renegade! I love how in-between and uncertain everything is- the fate of Aria's and Braith's love, the future of the world, how the humans feel about the vampires and vice versa, how everyone is trying to come with grips with the fact that a something is about to happen.

  16. My favorite is Refugee, because I love Braith and Aria in it. They know they love each other, and they knew they are going to work to be together and they just wish everyone else would chill out and let them do it. And the make out scenes are pretty awesome.

  17. I haven't had the chance to read this series as of yet. I do have the 1st book on my kindle but just don't have the time to actually sit down to read. After reading this post, I realize that I made a big mistake in waiting so long. Thanks for the giveaway!

  18. I would love to be entered, but I have not read Captured yet.. I own it! I'm excited to read it, but I'm in the middle of a book now. I will read and review as the next up on my list. I also own Kindred.

  19. I loved every book in this series but Salvation was my favorite, there were many surprises, there was sadness, there was loss, but the love between Braith and Arie never failed and it has always been the best part of all of these books. This book was full of action and drama and of course romance. When the author finally had Arie and Braith make that final bond between them it was beautiful and you could just feel how their love just bloomed even more. I was so glad at how all of the vampires were treating Arie after the battle, that they were willing to follow her as their Queen if she chose to take that position next to Braith. I loved the surprise Braith gave Aria, and of course there were twist and turns Erica did at the end to keep us on the edge of our seat but the ending was beautiful. I loved this whole series and can't wait to read Redemption.

  20. I really have a hard time with this. The series was what awakened my love for reading again. Years that I had no desire to pick up a book really... I really think I would have to pick Salvation. I was NOT expecting many of the twists-just when you think the book is winding down, all hell breaks lose! I may go back and read the whole series one more time- could probably read it twice because I can never put your stories down!

  21. I haven't read this series yet but I plan to very soon! I have read The Survivor Chronicles and have loved it! If this series has even close to the on the edge of your seat-can't turn the page fast enough twists and turns, then I know I will love it! Can't wait to start it!

  22. I have just discovered you and your books so I haven't had a chance to read any of your books yet. But from the reviews, your books are on my TBR list. Thanks for the giveaway.

  23. I would have to say Captured was my favorite out of the four because of how we get to know Aria. Her inner conflict of being impressed by the world she was forced into by becoming a blood slave showed a lot about her. She appreciates beauty in all things, a trait I love in people and characters. The first book also reminds me soo much of my favorite fairy tale and Disney adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.

I read all of the books over two days so they all kind of melded together into one. It was a great series that I had to force myself to put down.

  24. I'm going with Renegade:
I loved the part when he found her in the woods and although she hesitated at first, she fired the bow at him and went into the trees. Later on when he comes back, giving up everything for her, we meet Ashby. The storyline that came out of that, explaining the possiblity of their bloodlink and what happened to his mother...I couldn't have asked for more.

  25. I love renegade because my favourite chapter out of all of the captured books is chapter 9, in which Braith finally decides to stay with Aria. I love the tension in the caves and then later on at Ashby's house . :) so good !!!
